What is a Bee-Friendly Zone?

A Bee-Friendly Zone is a safe place where bees and other insects can nest, forage for pollen and nectar and go about their business without coming into contact with potentially toxic chemicals.

A BFZ can be a small as a balcony or patio - even a window box - or as big as your garden.

You can add your BFZ to our World Bee Friendly Zone Map and become part of a worldwide movement to make the world a safer place for our essential pollinators.

If you would like to help make your neighbourhood, village or town bee-friendly, you can join the Bee Guardian Foundation, an educational conservation organisation that aims to help all bee species and other pollinators, empowering people, institutions, companies, towns and cities to become Bee Guardians.
