.
I realize top bar hives are supposed to be cheap and simple. However, there are those who want them luxurious.
I can't even afford one of these hives for myself, but I'm more-than-happy to build one (or two) for someone else.
I'm not trying to sell my hives to any of you because it's impractical to ship these in their present configuration. These are only for those who live local in central Florida.
Although this is the basic design of Phil Chandler here at biobees.com, I'm sure he'd frown down upon the elitism of this version, lol.

Two very nice TBHs Patrick. What did you use for the roof? Are you a carpenter? |

Those are some very nice looking hives. Well done. I love the natural look of the cedar, too bad it is so expensive to buy.

THANKS !!!
For the roof I used cedar for the frame with various lumber for support for the curved roof. The curved roof is quarter-inch plywood.
I am NOT a carpenter. But thanks for assuming I could possibly be one...lol.
You can learn most anything on YouTube at this point. In fact, there's almost no need to go into debt going to college when you can learn anything you need to know at YouTube University...lol.

Thanks so much, sir.
They are much nicer than the junk in my own back yard, eh?
But Ollie, come spring, you'll be too busy to even remotely have any interest in my streams...
We all would love to see your hives in Ireland over Stre.am
